A VEHICLE fire on Pensarn Beach yesterday morning (September 7) led the car park and road on the adjacent promenade to close.
Representatives of North Wales Police and North Wales Fire and Rescue Service attended the incident, having received reports just after 9.30am.
Police say the circumstances regarding the fire are not being treated as suspicious.
A North Wales Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 9.35am yesterday to a small vehicle fire on Pensarn Beach.
“One appliance attended, and a stop was called at 11.01am.
“Police closed the road on the promenade for a time.
“Crews extinguished the fire and awaited vehicle recovery.”

A spokesperson for North Wales Police added: “We received a call at 9.41am yesterday reporting a vehicle on fire in a car park at Pensarn Beach.
“Officers attended to assist colleagues from North Wales Fire and Rescue Service and the car park was closed to the public whilst the incident was dealt with.
“There are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances.”
