HENLEY crushed unlucky Boyne Hill 10-0 in their Cressex Summer Hockey League clash last week.

Understrength Boyne Hill, who started with just nine players and a stand-in goalkeeper, found themselves up against it from the start.

Henley hit the target within seconds of the start to set the tone for the clash. They had scored eight goals, without reply, by half time.

After the break, Boyne Hill were back up to full strength and the match became a more even encounter with Henley striking just two more before the end.

Serena Hickman hit four of the Boyne Hill goals, while Esme Walker weighed in with two and Rachel Walker, Kat Rutland, Karen Roseff and Jo Simpson added singles.

Harlow got off to a good start in their clash with Farnham Common when the prolific Vikki Leach fired them into the lead.

But it wasn't to last. Farnham hit back with two of their own from Maggie Southernden and Julie Shears to claim the points.

In the final match of the evening, Windsor enjoyed a 3-0 win over Maidenhead.

Fay Whittaker, Caroline Tucker and Dawn Midwinter were all on target for Windsor.
