Boy, 15, arrested after incident at Rhyl High School

A 15-year-old boy has been arrested following an incident at Rhyl High School.

The high school on Grange Road in Rhyl was cornered off by police, who were called at around 1.10pm on Friday, June 9. 

There was a heavy police presence as the school was in 'lockdown'. Students were allowed to leave the building at around 4pm.

North Wales Police arrested a local 15-year-old boy in Llandudno at 4pm. They confirmed that they were not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident
